Status Update: Interlude 1 & Chapter 13 · 3:33am Dec 29th, 2018
Many of you who've followed the Alchemist's Heart are probably familiar with my interludes, but for those who aren't, I'll explain. When I need to skip a significant amount of time—especially between major arcs—where some plot relevant stuff happens that I want to reference later while not developing into full scenes, I make an interlude chapter. In the Alchemist's Heart, these interludes consisted of Silver Script's journal entries, in addition to correspondence exchanged with others.
So, in celebration of an interlude that I'm totally not writing AFTER having already written chapter 13, I'm doing something a bit 'different' for our first interlude chapter. These will be completely raw and unedited, to further reflect the unedited nature of diaries/correspondence to add that more personal touch. These interludes will be more akin to the original run of When A Pony Calls, when ol' Miss Sevi was purposely not editing running things past editors/pre-readers.
Chapter 13 is finished and fully edited, and I wanna say that chapter 14 is about two thirds of the way written. I aim to get Interlude 1 and Chapter 13 both launched before the new year.
