Since clearly I've misjudged how the rules work here. Can't use 'roleplaying' as a form of comedy. Can't use song lyrics that aren't MLP related cause of bullshit copyright. What the fuck else is next huh? Like seriously I came here to write stories freely without people hampering me and telling me what to do and this is what happens? Just as I am getting my muse back and purpose to write? Seriously? Well fuck it whatever I guess. If this continues to happen? I'm done here and will just take my writing elsewhere and if that doesn't work? Well congrats FimFic on crushing the dreams of someone who just wanted to write to feel better about life. Good fucking job. I'm going to bed. I've had enough of this shit for one night.

yeah,...no...no i wont and likely? My insomnia and depression will keep me awake and i have them to thank with their bullshit rules that they wanna enforce late as fuck and then act like they care when they don't. It might be attractive to look for someone else to blame, but it's not really going to help you in the long run. Instead, take some personal responsibility. You agreed to follow this site's rules when you posted your stories here; if you don't want to be subject to this site's rules, you could post on another site with less restrictive rules, or even start up a blog that's completely under your control where you can post whatever you want. (Though at the end of the day, no matter how you slice it, posting copy/pasted or even lightly edited song lyrics is just straight-up theft of someone else's work. Fan fiction is slightly more of a gray area; at least it's transformative.)
Also, none of the rules exist on a whim or for fun. Every single one of them has a reason behind it. The lyrics one is so the RIAA -- who are known to be horrifically, venomously litigious when music copyrights are infringed -- don't sue the site into oblivion. Allowing a few people to have song lyrics in their stories isn't worth having the entire site shut down, displacing over a quarter-million authors and readers.
The story approvers are volunteers who do their work here in their free time (just like you). There are way too many story submissions for every story to be manually checked to ensure they follow all the rules; your first story has to be manually approved, to demonstrate you understand how to follow the rules, and after that it's based on the honor system, supplemented by user reports. A user noticed that your story/stories broke the rules and reported it; as soon as the story approvers were made aware, they acted on it. In other words, the story approvers enforced the rules as soon as they knew the rules needed to be enforced.
This makes it sound like you're relying on external validation for your own self-worth, which isn't healthy. Real talk: stories being revoked for objective rules violations aren't worth being crushed over. Your stories weren't pulled because people thought they were terrible or voted them out; they were pulled because they happened to contain elements that this particular site isn't willing to host, you know? At the end of the day, if you're still happy with and proud of your stories as written, regardless of whether or not they meet this site's requirements, that's what's important.

I hate people helicoptering me and I'm sure that's what is gonna happen now and this entire shit forces me to rework my writing style which I've grown comfortable with after having tried to change it for so long. They'll overlooked this kinda shit with writers who have more clout than mine and I've seen it happen multiple times. So like I said. Whatever. Guess I just won't be writing for a bit.
