I'm actually writing something! · 9:23pm Dec 10th, 2018
So I've always wanted to write, but despite having the ideas, my mind has never been able to put pen to paper and I've always felt I'm a reader more than a writer. Then I watched a comic dub last night and yet another idea popped into my head, but I think this could actually be the one. I mean I've written nearly 1500 words on my day off today and barely gotten anywhere into the actual plot, which focuses on an unknown ailment affecting Fluttershy's psychological state and hidden secrets from her families past coming to haunt them, provisionally titled the Shy's curse. It may be a while until it's published, heck probably at least a month, I'd rather get the whole thing out as one than partial segments and although I doubt anyone will read it, I'll at least have the satisfaction of actually writing something.
If you ever want to talk about writing or your ideas I am more than happy to help and I will talk with Rosa to see if we have the time to help you out with editing. Never give up on a dream if you want to write just starting is a big step.

Thanks, this story sadly hit the buffers. I tried, but just didn't quite work for one reason or another. Had another, that again just didn't work. Honestly I have these ideas and they ain't half bad but trying to develop a story from them is an absolute nightmare and often am to much of a perfectionist. The latest idea I'm now just using a notepad and actually writing rather than typing and hope to edit that into something in future if I stick with it. It's more lighthearted and comedy but still with some serious stuff going on.
