It was a nice night tonight. Relatively steady on my end. We had three parties, one at 4:15, one at 5, and one at 7. The 4:15 one actually stayed for awhile. It was a 15-top. The 5 was a 14, and the 7 was planned to be a 15 but it turned out it was a 17 plus 2 kids. What's worse about that last one? They virtually demanded they be put in the family room. Even though they were all crammed against each other. The poor kids had to have a little table brought in for them, and they sat in the corner staring at the walls. They were a loud party too. So the whole restaurant could hear their talking and laughing. I wasn't too bothered by it, just felt bad for the kids. I ended up getting out at 9:50. Not bad for a friday.
In other work-related news, I'm working Saturday and Sunday too. Chelsea called on Wednesday night to check on my and asked if it was okay if I come in. Apparently there was a family emergency (I think a death in the family) and Dick can't work the weekend due to a funeral.
It shouldn't be too bad. I get to make up the day I missed.
In other news, I enjoyed writing again. I'm hoping I can keep up the momentum and write more on the chapter tomorrow. I may have mattchilly or Dragonfire2lm preread it after I do my first 3 or 4 rereads of it. (Whenever it's done that is.)
