Story updates and a question about something no one remembers happening probably.

I know it has been a while since I last updated a story here and so I wanted to write this in the hopes it will assure people that I won't be disappearing for multiple years again... Sorry about that if anyone noticed.

Rainbow Rocks: Unfinished Business:
I have done some work on the next chapter for this story. It is just a bit hard at times because I fear going forward will make the story feel like it is dragging on or something considering what happened at the end of the last chapter there. My fault because I really wanted that event to happen and it could have easily been the end of the story, but I still wanted to write more of it. I am working on the next chapter though, even if it is still very early in the process.

The Truth of Bonds and Friendship:
I have some of the next chapter written, but it is going to be a long chapter again. I will try to make sure it isn't a 12K-16K word monster at least. I will still add plenty of my scene break markers and such to make bookmarking easier. I also actually have some of a chapter that takes place after the next little arc written as well. It was something I originally thought about not adding, but found a way to make it happen and still be fun to read.

I still have many scattered but mostly written chapters that will happen in the future for this story. I am at least getting a little bit closer to my version of the Canterlot Wedding, even if it is still fairly far down the line content wise. In case anyone reading that story is curious, season 2 stuff will probably not be really focused on too much since the story is moving on to much different territory. I also don't really plan to follow much, if any canon after season 3. Hint that could be a spoiler for later content so don't read it if you don't want to: I also have my version of Twilight's ascension and what Naruko will experience instead planned out. Only Twilight will get to be an alicorn, but that isn't to say Naruko won't have something equally important happen to her. Those familiar with Naruto could probably guess.

Alice Pony Madness Returns:
I will admit this story is probably the lowest on my priority list. I was actually surprised people were still keeping track of it, but I can understand and I am sorry for little being done with it. I have been going back and rereading the story and making grammar corrections (which will still be far from perfect), while also reminding myself where I am in it so I can proceed. I have an idea on what I want in the next chapter or so, but I need to reaffirm events in the story so it will flow better. Sadly, what happened here is I actually had a decent bit of the next chapter written long ago, but lost it. I managed to remove the chapter's existence during one of the many times I will transferring between my home PC and my Laptop I use for longer trips. I am at least more careful with that now so it hopefully won't happen again.

I will also admit the main reason I haven't been as active on my stories here is because I have been really working on a non-MLP story series of mine during my free time when I write instead. Obviously such stories aren't here since they aren't MLP stories. That group of stories does at least include my first completed long and multi-chapter fic.

Speaking of non-MLP fanfic... I was wondering (and I know this is a long shot since few people read these blogs) if anyone remembered what happened to their plans for making a non-MLP Fanfic site modeled after this site. I remember years back they mentioned it in a blog, but I don't know what it was titled or who posted it. I just remembered they mentioned they had a name for it and still had a lot of work to go on it, but I don't remember what the name was. I merely ask because going back to the archaic, dinosaur, never really been updated fanfiction.net has really bugged me with how old and ancient it is in design.

I've never realized how annoying it can be to not be able to post a reply for all to see outside of a disruptive Author's note. There is also the fact you have to completely resubmit a chapter for corrections instead of just editing and saving your edits. I've had a few people talk about how the pairing in my mind for that story feels forced and I'm tearing my virtual hair out screaming at them that the pairing would be forced at this point since it isn't supposed to happen until much later. It is perhaps just my fault for not wanting to fill in author's notes every chapter, but I many times get annoyed at authors who do that there. I have seen so many good stories ruined because the author decides they want to make what they think is a witty and funny and cute Author's Note/Omake (which has little to do with the story), and it ends up being half of the chapter's length or more.

That is the story updates and my question about what happened to the new site they were planning.
