Rainbow Dash was flying today
Or rather, she was falling
The ground was a ways away
And her eyes, they were balling

Shed flown as high as she could
Until her wings began to collapse
She didn't know if she would
for her wings to give some more flaps

The ground was coming fast
Shed never pushed herself this far
She always pulled up in the past
She'd always pushed the bar

This time she aimed too high
This time her life was on the line
How would she make it by?
Why didn't she read the signs?
