    Been awhile.

Hey, everyone. I swear I'm working on more Batty. But between working on the new book and one of my editors being beyond busy, I've often had to choose between getting the book editted or having them look at Batty. Next chapter will be out soon enough, hopefully. It's another one shot for the Echoes of Family story looking at a day in the guard as Tempered.

    Good news and apologies.

So! Good news is the next chapter of She Drives Me Batty is almost done, and with the book released, I can make sure to focus and get you guys that. I do want to apologize for taking so long on it, though... The actual red tape behind getting the book out was hell on me these past two months. Writing the book? Not a problem. Fun as heck, but I've been stuck doing business and other stressful

    Cover Art!

So, folks, there's gonna be three last blogs on the book, I think... This one, one on release day, and one for when I get paperbacks, hardcovers, and the audiobook in order and out. As it turns out, the magic of digital printing means I can publish physical copies no sweat. I just need to look a bit more into them first.

    Trotting off to Trotcon

It's a bit of a last minute thing, but I'll be heading to Trotcon with a few friends of mine if anyone wants to consider meeting up. I'm likely to be spending a lot of time either looking to play Are You a Changeling or at whatever corner they're got for fanfic writing if they have one. Hit me up with a comment if you're curious about meeting and have any questions on Batty and where it's going.

Twilight’s Castle was merely a setback! · 9:52pm Oct 10th, 2018

So... my editors been hella busy lately and I couldn’t find time to just sit down and talk for an hour or two on where I want/should take dC/dt yet. And then the inspiration bug hit for Batty while I was waiting, so people may have to wait till after the next Batty chapter for dC/dt, maybe longer if he stays hella busy.... I really need to use him as a sounding board/advisor for where to go moving forward because something of critical importance may or may not happen while they’re in Canterlot.

The whole reason i followed was for dc/dt. Hoping that it it is not dead.

I would hope it’s not dead.... Most of the wait falls on my editor right now, and no, a new editor won’t help here. He has time to edit my stuff right now. He just can’t find time to sit down for a massive multiple hour brainstorm session where we work out exactly how to move from step A to step B in my general plans for the story.

I was hoping that once the story is complete, i could make a comic from it. We'll see though

Well, I’m honestly flattered, but it’s certainly going to take a while to reach the end. If you really want to make a comic version, I’d say start and feel free to either A) end it how you want if I’m forced to drop the story, B) consult me if you really want to stay true to form, or C) say screw you if I do something you don’t agree with at a later point in the story and take reign of the comic version yourself.

Like, really, you have my blessing if you want to do a comic of it, and if something crops up in story you don’t agree with on a fundamental level? If I make some horribly huge blunder? Then feel free to make the comic how you would want it to go. It’s cool enough that you’re thinking of making a comic that I don’t care if you take creative liberties.
