Hi all, Nyhll here and back from Vacation~! ^^
So! This is going to be a bit of a longer blog update, so I’ll put a TL;DR at the bottom~ ^^
***~CURRENT STORIES~***
So I’ve been doing some pondering on my stories, past, present, and future, and I’ve come to some decisions.
01. Setting of the Peaceful Sun
I really don't like writing Revenge Fics for Anon-A-Miss. ^^;
I know thats what some people enjoy, but it’s just not for me, so as such, I’m going to be dropping Setting of the Peaceful Sun. For those of you that liked it, it shall be up for a little bit until I Revoke Submission it. I do apologize for dropping it, but I just can’t get into writing it. I adore the character of Sunset Shimmer as she’s evolved through the movies, as simple as it is, and I just don’t like seeing Sunset going for petty revenge. I’m fine with “Old” Sunset being manipulative and haughty, but I can’t see “New” Sunset seeking revenge.
02. The Cello and The Guitar: Reverberation
This story is a guilty pleasure of mine xD
It’s going to be continuing, even though it doesn’t get many views, thanks to an odd coupling and me being known more for Anon-A-Miss and freaking out and salting the earth (definitely more of that second then the first ^^;)
It’s not gonna get the same fevered releases that I normally do, but it’s gonna get more chapters~ ^^
03. Return of the New Girl
Someone noted me about this one! :’D
This story is definitely continuing! I like the concept of an Amnesiac Sunset coming back to CHS after the Fall Formal, it has a hint of Anon-A-Miss to me~ ^^
It also lets me have Sunset stay with Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna, which is a concept I love~ ^^
Plus more Princess Twilight in Gaia
04. Sunset Dominates the Sirens
I may be surrounded by perverts (y’all know who you are >;’P), but I’m not much into smut. I’m a below mediocre fanfic writer at best, and an even worse smut writer! XD
But this series will continue! Cause of those perverts insisting so~ xD
Just don’t expect regular updates~ ^^
05. Phoenix & Reborn
Ooooh, boy… I don’t odd… (I’m so past even xD)
So as I’ve said before, I have lots of issues with this story, and so do readers. A lot of people didn’t like Sunset perceived “Prostitution”, and I understand that, but it was never meant to be like that. That was more just Sunset being an adult and taking care of needs, and getting extra rewards for it. It was actually shamelessly stolen from a OctaScratch story. (which was infinitely more well written xD)
I’m still gonna continue it. I love Sunset x Sirens, it’s one of my favorite ships, and I always intended to write this in three parts.

01. Dragonlayer
Didn’t I just say I didn’t do smut? XD
This story is gonna get absorbed into my Alter Universe, cause I just gotta do the obvious pun! XD
No ETA on it, though.
02. Alter
The big one! ^^
This is a full on AU, inspired by the Nightmare Moon blogs on tumblr I follow. (I’d name them but I can’t remember off the top of my head, and I’m at work as I write this ^^;)
It’s not gonna be one story, but rather a collection of stories set in a single universe with all the characters we know and love, but Alter-ed! 8’D (I suck, I know xD)
It’s gonna start soon, and it will be confusing at first, but it will get explained over time~ ^^
03. Sunset get Expelled
This was the story I mentioned in the previous blog.
Sunset gets expelled at the end of the Fall Formal and ends up at CPA. Come on, how else would I write this? XD
Oh, wait…
04. “Go Home.”
Sunset is instead forced back to Equestria at the end of the Fall Formal. This one is still in Pre-Alpha planning, but I think it’s a story I’ll write~ ^^

Now that my personal 'good things to say' are said and done, I have to ask: why are you revoking Setting of the Peaceful Sun? I know it isn't much as it is, but
it's still not an entirely bad read(actually, scratch that, gets almost nowhere.) Still, the point stands. If you just cancel it, someone might like the idea and try it on their own.But you do what you want to do, I'm just a reader that is currently voicing their opinion.
I would also say I'm surprised you don't like Anon-a-miss revenge fics, but really, I can kinda see why. It has been done a lot of times, even though anon-a-miss as a whole has been done many times.
I want to clear some things up too:
Do you have any sort of schedule, or is it the ever convinient 'when it's ready, it's ready, no sooner, no later'?
You mentioned a while back that you might be rewriting parts of Phoenix and Reborn, such as the prostitution thing. Is that still happening, or are you simply continuing on with the story. (Thought to kind of justify Sunset doing that: she still goes into heat as a human. Not very creative, but it works.)
And lastly: you need to elaborate on Alter. I have absolutely no idea what to expect, all I know is that Sunset fucks Ember at some point. Great. What a reason to read it. I am so looking forward to it now. Oh, and it also involves Nightmare Moon. Wooo.
Seriously though, I have no idea whether to look forward to Alter or just ignore it.
Sad to hear Setting is going away, but write what works for you.

You know. Instead of deleting peaceful sun why not change it form revenge to more vengeance. Or more change it from sunset just fucking every one just to fuck them over to more exposing all the lies and sins they commit. You know expose thier crimes and all that
please don't throw Setting of the Peaceful Sun away it's really well done
it doesn't have to be full out chaotic revenge the story could more about Princess Twilight and Sunset and their bond and how far she'll go for Sunset.
i just came from reborn after catching up with it, to see if there was anything about it continuing, along with your other stories, and i am so glad that reborn is not dead. all your stories i have found to be really good, and im glad your back, though i am sad to see peaceful go.
