Early chapter release today!

I initially wanted to release this chapter along with the last one, but what I was originally going to post in the last chapter was completely deleted by accident about 2k+ words in. I was practically done with the chapter by that point. Turns out I hadn't saved the chapter since I started and my progress was completely unrecoverable.

Needless to say, I was rather upset.

Instead of fuming and rage quitting however, I bit down on my frustration and rewrote the last chapter. Unfortunately the setback made it so that I only had time to finish the one chapter. So, here's the next part I had meant to write along with the last chapter.

Situations like these are the downside of writing chapters on the fly. If my work gets deleted and I can't recover it, I have to start over from scratch with an entirely different chapter than what I had originally envisioned—though to be fair, I've generally been more satisfied with the rewrite than what I had written before in most cases.
