Given the length--yet again--between the previous and upcoming chapter, I thought I might as well do a general update. There's some good news, bad news, and then other good news. I apologize if this whole thing comes across as a bit disorganized, because I've been meaning to make this post for a while, but kept putting it off, so now I'm just going to sit down and make myself do it.
The good news is that the story's still being worked on. Really. It's coming along slowly, perhaps painfully so, but it's coming along. I make a point to write something, even if it's just one sentence, every day (well, every weekday, at least). The bad news is that the "one sentence" per day is becoming very common, hence the slow pace, and I'm not sure it's going to get better... I'm not giving up on the story and I still have some fun writing it, but I'm not quite as enthusiastic as I used to be, which is a big contributor to the slower pace.
The other good news is that concurrently with this I've been working on a parody of My Little Pony: The Movie, and it seems to be moving a little faster than the next chapter. Of course, it'll probably be a while before it's done, there's a lot to go through (it being the movie and all), but it at least means I won't have to put the whole story on pause when I get to the point where it happens (though I may leave its place in the "timeline" a little ambiguous, we'll see) as I did with the two previous Equestria Girls parodies.
Get back to work, you slacker! *cracks whip*
