    Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,

I know it's been a while, but while I had some time I figured to let you all be aware of what's going on.

Notes from Unfinished Stories and Opportunity

    Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,

I know I have been quiet for the past several months, but in case you didn't know, allow me to explain.

I've decided that since I have twelve stories that are still unfinished, I'm going to re-read them to see how to plan them out. And while I was reading and making notes, I've come to a realization. Something to give you, the reader, a unique opportunity.

    Plans Going Forward

    Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,

Before anyone out there get any ideas that, "Hey, Cracked, I have an idea for a story, do you take up requests?" Or if any of you beg for a sequel from any of the more recent stories, I'm gonna have to do something that I never thought I would say here.

    No.

Birthday Poem · 8:30pm Jun 27th, 2018

Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,

Recently Milo_Chalks has written out a sort of late birthday present for me. He has given permission to post it on my blog to share with you all what he has written for me. Personally, this is extraordinary as no one has ever written a poem for me before, much less of how much effort this was put into! I enjoyed this and hopefully you will too.

Signed your fellow Writer and Closeted Brony,

-CrackedInkWell

Two little birds, did live one day, their feathers of green hue,
One flying free, in search for prey, one safe inside a zoo,
Both were as happy as could be, but bitter, lone they grew.

One could go anywhere and see what it pleased,
He ducked and dived and soared outside, sweet nectar it did tease.
The second smiled in harsh of night, had warm and comfy beds,
Three meals at days, on silver trays, of grains and wheats and breads.

They had all they could ever want, not looking very far,
Broke by the sun-
days merged to one-
Part by silver bars,
Yet loneliness did ever grow, under their big bronze stars.

Set out did one, in search for two,
In search for friends, his heart erv’ grew,
But what he found-
Not far from ground, feelings he never knew.

Two little birds, did live one day, chests puffed and full of pride
One in the sky, through clouds of grey, one snug and safe inside.
Yet meet they did, one cold wet may, when one did want to hide.

Two rested well, inside her cage, the storm far from her home,
One filled with fear, of storms of rage, sought shelter in Two’s dome.
Both eyes did meet, both souls did crash- love they felt within,
Through one short night, and storm of plight, they felt of gentle kin.

‘Hear hear! Come see, and live with me, warm meals thrice a day’
‘See see! Come here to my old tree, to soar and dive and prey.’
‘But I don’t want to leave you here, to be trapped in a cage!’
‘But I don’t want to let you go, and die of nature’s rage!’

‘What do we do? I have no clue, our worlds too far apart,’
‘I do love you, but I see too, that split in our hearts.’

Two little birds, did live one day- tails long and preened,
Love they want, but change could not, left just to lone dream.
But that’s okay as both still meet- though no love is found,
Yet close they be, new birds they greet, but friendship ever ground.

Beautiful...reminds of a song that almost parallels this poem.
https://youtu.be/rwK2nnImhp0
the singer is Candice night, wife of Richie Blackmore famously well known for bands like rainbow & deep purple.
from her first (of two) solo album called Reflections in 2011. the second was Starlight, starbright.
p.s: Blackmore's night (a combination of their names together. have been going since 1997 to the present) just thought you should know:)

That's a really cool and pretty poem. :D
