IDW Comic Issue #66 · 2:51pm Jun 22nd, 2018
So, unlike the Equestria Girls universe, apparently multi-million dollar projects can be turned over to those with absolutely no experience. Yeah, that strains the suspension of disbelief.
And this is another issue that happens because the Mane 6 act like children, with a punchline I saw years ago on The Fairly OddParents.
If it sounds like I hated this issue, I didn't. It was just... meh.
Well, if I don't have an issue at the comic shop, the next issue will be the one that gets me caught up.
Yeah, it was a bit off-putting to me, too, actually.
I love the issue artist's work, though.
The writer's?
NOT so much.
This issue was a little weak. But it did have some nice continuity nods, we got to see Applewood, and the School of Friendship got its first mention in the comics.
The plot was kind of lame, I agree, but I love that they made a Warner Herzog expy as the director.
