So this might be a longer rant than usual for me.
First off I have but 7 chapters left before Stories in Stone Last Dance is finished and i near wrap up the entirety of the Stories and Stone series. it's slow going as i need to be in a certain mindset to write Last Dance. Music helps, but the existential dread has been at bay lately.
Secondly, Reign of Night will continue once Last Dance is finished. It seems both stories use the same frame of mind.
Third, the previous Blog post was not a hint at a new story. Just something that is going to be added into an existing story.
Fourth, I am canceling 2 of my stories, maybe three. The Mare, the Dragon and the Draquonus, is getting the ax [ Dr. Choppy in fact. ] As is Record of Beryl Wars, and my longest Hiatus, Bubblegum Crisis, Friendship is Mecha.
The reasons are multiple. Record of Beryl Wars never really sparked much interest, though in truth I MIGHT still continue it if Fallout 76 rekindles the desire for a Fallout story in me.
Bubblegum Crisis Friendship is Mecha, was my first story ever and looking back at that train wreck i can see how i've improved. but all the ideas i had for the story have fled and re-reading it i can see a lot of my plans were just copies of BGC with Ponies painted atop of it. So those of you who were looking forward to Twilight Yamazaki, Rarity Stingray, Dash Asagiri, Flutter Romanova, The APD[Apple Police Department], and Spike as Mackie are simply going to have to be disappointed.
MD&D has a whole different reasoning. While it had interest it was a story i never really cared to tell. The Gathering of Aviana's Elements of Harmony and how she turned into a right proper bitch. In truth it was never going to be a long story and the drive i had to write it died pretty quickly. But i kept it around just incase i was in the mood for it. So far that desire has never come back and I launched into TGaP and didn't look back.
I am still redoing Stories in Stone; Luna's Royal Guard and given i am fleshing it out as i got Avianna's background from MD&D might be added in there, as well as my ideas for the Solar Flare story.
Tip of the Scales will also be following the rework of LRG. So that story , while slow, will be updated when the mood strikes.
For those worried about Ponies Ruin Everything!, and Tales in stone [ all two of you], those are pretty much dump bins for my ideas and while they may not be updated often, any time i get a wild tangent going they will update. I might condense MD&D into a tales of Stone update in fact.
Finally for those of you who might be worrying about Twilight Gets a Puppy, don't I've got three + more episodes before i'm done with the first season then i'm going to start the second season in another story I've got 8 seasons to rewatch and watch with MLP and i plan to run the siblings through the entire thing.

Its always good to hear from you man, thanks for the update. Stories in Stone has been a great read so far, I wish I could get them in hardback.
I still maintain that Reign of Night is one of your better works.
