MLPlaneswalker: the Humane 6 · 5:00pm May 26th, 2018
I’ve designed a cards for each of the Humane 6, which I plan to use for a future spinoff anthology similar to Sideboard Stories, except taking place in the span between Glimmering Oil and the planned fourth installment in the MLPlaneswalker series.
Be warned that a few details of the cards will contain mild spoilers for the ending of Glimmering Oil, though they won’t be meaningfully apparent just from looking at them without context. Just in case, I’m going to go ahead and throw up a spoiler warning before the page break.
Twilight, Thaumatologist 2UR

2R, T: Copy target instant or sorcery spell you control. You may choose new targets for the copy.
1U, T: Copy target activated ability of an artifact you control. You may choose new targets for the copy. (Mana abilities can’t be targeted.)
“As I like to say, any sufficiently researched magic is indistinguishable from science.”

You’ve probably noticed it by now, but each of the Humane 6 have different color identities than their pony counterparts. This is because each of them has a subtly different outlook and set of values from their corresponding pony counterpart, which will be explored further in each of their chapters.
Of course, you may have also noticed that Pinkie is still missing. Her card’s been designed, but I can’t post it here without revealing a major spoiler for her own one-shot spinoff chapter. You can check it out below, but be forewarned that it almost single-handedly reveals the entire twist of her story.

Pinkie, the Inexplicable 2CC
Legendary Creature — Human Eldrazi
When you cast this spell, each player exiles the top card of their library. You may cast nonland cards from among them for as long as they remain exiled, and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any type to cast them.
Whenever you cast a spell from exile, Pinkie, the Inexplicable deals 2 damage to any target.
A dream as spontaneous as laughter itself.

Very interesting use of Mystic. I would've gone with Shaman, but I like your approach.
I wholeheartedly approve of what you're doing with Pinkie.

I do have a reason for that choice, which will be elaborated upon in the future. If you may recall, Mystics in MtG are known for one thing in particular, especially in the Odyssey block.

Oh come on seriously, you HAD to make that pun
I...I want Applejack to be a real card.
The problem with Blue is that it doesn't have quite enough support for a Landfall deck and while Tatyova helps, your commander in a landfall deck really should help you put more lands into play.
Applejack is expensive for the type of landfall engine, (being more expensive then Gitrog, Mina and Denn or Azusa) but given the effects of the Moonfolk, plus the White and Green Landfall cards (and obviously Roil Elemental) that are more control focused...
I REALLY want Applejack to be a real card. She would be my commander for a Blue/White/Green control deck SO FAST.
