The more I see Celestia on camera in show, the more I realize she's a cheesy dip.
The more I think about how she lacks certain social skills at moments and seems to just grandma mask, the more past things more impressive, you know?
She got her butt handed to her by Chrysalis, she sorta defeated Nightmare Moon by gimping the elements, Twilight had a frantic fantasy where parasprites carried her off to danger, her and Luna got defeated by roots, she has an army to protect her and others...
Like, maybe it's less she's assigning Twilight to take care of problems as a test, and more Celestia's a silly old Mom.
I mean Mom's kinda silly and all the reasons why we can't do certain things she doesn't really know why she just knows it's bad, but Mom's been around the longest and Mom just wants what best for us so I guess it's okay that my friends can't go through a mirror with me thanks Mom appreciate it-
Like, Starswirl crowned her princess, rescued her, and solved her problems most of the time. Then, he and the five other hot shots disappeared, then her sister went crazy. Like, her super power isn't wisdom or power, she just endures dude~ Like a 1000 years after her sister returns they're already having issues. The two little princesses she watched over that are present now are the princesses of Friendship and Love, and it seems Celestia's more in charge at this point because everyone sincerely believes she has everyone's best intentions.

I wonder then how she would react if Twilight were to ever take over and make her job easier? That is if Twilight is now immortal as an alicorn.
