The one where Maud gets a boyfriend (not like I'm jealous or anything).

Gotta say, I was looking forward to this episode ever since I heard the synopsis. I mean, Maud Pie, the best Pie sister and one of my favorite characters on the show getting a boyfriend?! I guess you could say I was VERY interested to see what this episode had to offer (and that I totally wasn't jealous or anything). When the episode finally came out, I was a little conflicted. On one hand, I did enjoy the message the episode was trying to convey, and the comedy was great as usual (Nick Confalone is a great writer) but I just couldn't seem to get behind Mud Briar. Whereas Maud's deadpan attitude is actually enjoyable, Mud Briar just felt... eh.
I don't know. I think he could've been a more enjoyable character is all I'm saying. Who knows, he may grow on me as time goes on, but right now I still think Maud deserves someone better. But hey, if he makes her happy, then that's fine (not that I'm jealous or anything. Did I say that already?).

What did you all think of the episode and the confirmed canon pairing?
I can agree with Mud Briar. I don't hate him, but I also don't like him too much. He had some moments such as him looking in his mind map or whatever that was, but over all he was just ok.
I do appreciate he isn't just a carbon copy of Maud. He shows his emotions a little more than Maud for example.
My favourite part of the episode is Pinkie talking to her other sister's and how they helped her. You don't see them much so it's nice to get more from them.
The episode was great, I don't mind the Maud pairing personally, one of my friends already hates it and he hasn't watched the episode XD
