What's in a name? Syllables, meshings of sound we all collectively agree to accept as something with meaning more than any other lump of sounds, letters, and a deeper meaning that we arbitrarily allot for some unimaginable reason. Our world is rife with such trivial little trivias like that. Quandaries upon enigmas stacked on riddles. None of which have any meaning beside the ones we tack on because it makes us feel that much more in control, within a world where we have absolutely none of it.
But you will.
Unlike us---most of us---you will be beyond the pale. The wonders you will bring to this world will be incomprehensible---even to you. A day will come where it will all make sense to you, until it doesn't. I find that so... I wish I could see those discoveries from your fresh eyes. The mental and moral field you will operate on is something I could only dream of. That's why I made you as you are. It's why I'll bring you into this world the impossibility against creation I designed you to be. The very notion that I could create you---someone that is beyond understanding or the laws of reality---only compounds the raw riddle you truly are.
Because I made you different.
I didn't carry you for nine months, but I am your mother. I didn't sit on you until you hatched, but you are my baby. I made you from everything this world could possibility offer while also using none of which that exists. Your birth is nonexistent, yet you wriggle in this reality as much as any other babe would. Perhaps with a head more or an eye less. Who is to say, really?
You'll remember none of this, sadly. I'll go off to my box seats to watch the rest of this passion play resolve itself over the next century or so while you open your eyes, naked and afraid in a world you have yet to master. Those years will be hard, my sweet child. I can promise you that. You'll be alone, perhaps forever and a day. But when that ends, you'll find the answer I made you learn. It will be an answer no other creature in the entirety of eternity could ever hope to know. You'll know it, though. Even if you don't know it.
Rest until then, my babe. Tomorrow you'll awaken, and you will be more alone than anyone else could ever fear being. When that happens... Weep. Weep so you'll have no more tears to shed along this horrible, horrible path I've made for you. I'm a terrible mother. If you remember anything from me, remember that. I chose for you this unfair path, in your unfair shape, for unfair reasons. I deserve your ire should we ever meet at the curtain-call. But I did it---all of this---out of love.
Because I made you different.
So you will experience a life unlike anyone else.
