Got confirmed for a Whinny City Ponycon Panel! · 5:48am Mar 5th, 2018
Well Kiddos, I'm confirmed to be at Whinny City Ponycon in April (the venue is like 20 minutes from where I grew up and where my parents still live- I used to go to the My Little Pony Fair there). Even better, I'll be hosting a panel "Writing Pony Fanfiction: The Basics"!
If any of my dear internet followers are headed there, I'd love to meet you in person; alternatively, let me know if you have writing experience and would like to join me as a cohost of the panel!

They usually record the panels and put them up after the fact at these cons; if that's the case I'll post the link after it's all said and done.
Hey-hey, cool! I paneled at Whinny City 2 years ago, doing a similar-sounding panel on getting started writing pony fanfic. I’m gonna be there again this year but just as an attendee/herder of (my) children. Hopefully I can check out your panel! I dig it when I can get to meet other writers, especially ones whose stuff I’ve read.
One thing, though: at the 3 cons I’ve paneled at (technically 3.5 but that’s another story), it was on me to record and post the panel myself. Hence why I only have the first one (Whinny City 2016) up on YouTube... my co-panelist and I straight up forgot to turn the camera on back at Ciderfest 2017, and I keep forgetting to go back and clean up &post my recording from Ciderfest 2016.

Thanks for the tip, I'll email the con administration and see about the recording thing- if necessary I'll record the panel myself :)
