Five year anniversary

I’m literally writing this on my smartphone in bed past midnight because my memory failed me. So just pretend I wrote this ‘yesterday’.

Anyway, damn, I’ve been on this site for five whole years. That’s a fifth of my entire life devoted to this site. And I’m not leaving anytime soon, rest assured.

I’ve learned so much about writing while on this site. Seriously, look at some of my earlier stories and compare them to more recent ones; the difference in quality is staggering.

I wasn’t really thinking about popularity or horse fame when I joined. I didn’t set out to be the next Pen Stroke or anything; I just had ideas and wanted to put them out for people to enjoy. And while I have nowhere near the level of recognition as some other users, the three hundred and twenty nine followers I do have I hold close to my heart. Youtube and Twitter? Pah. Fimfiction is where I can be heard and my ideas really matter.

Thank you to everyone who’s stuck with me this whole time. I wish I had something more grandiose to share for this momentous occasion (in Razalonworld, at least), like a new story or something, but I’ve got nothing for the time being. But rest assured more stuff will come in the future. I’m not leaving this site for a long time, and you can bet that time will be filled with my own special breed of ponyfics.

Yeah, I'm on my sixth, though im basically a lurker now. I read, but that's about it, haven't contributed anything to the site in years. It's nice that authors are sticking around, though.
