Ramblings of an "Enlightened" Writer(?)

Surprise, surprise. The title isn't "What-related."

Updates: Expanded a lot more on OC backgrounds/motives for "Lunar Eclipse", and it's turning into a tangled mess. I have a general story line in mind (along with the ending), but the more I flesh out these OC's, the more potential side arcs that still lead into the main story are discovered. Phew. It's certainly been quite the experience just thinking of all the possibilities for the characters. And the research. Well, "research." (Thanks, Wiki articles, Youtube, and other very much credible sources on the Internet.)

Anyway, I got a bit sidetracked. Just wanted to note that I recently read the summary of "The Journal of Two Sisters" and am now going to change every single "Tia" (Luna's nickname for Celestia) into "Celie." Okay, not now. Later... Always did find it funny that the nickname meant "aunt" in Spanish.

But if you haven't read the summary, I highly recommend it, as it's really interesting (and, not to mention, canon).

Also, I still haven't watched anything past season 4 episode forgot. (Except for some clips featuring alternative timelines, detective Rarity, Tirek -you get the idea) Need to get on that one day, but I fear the more I watch, the more I'll want to add things to my current story. Bluh. I'm never ever underestimating the efforts of an author ever again.

And if any of you are worried about me never finishing "Lunar Eclipse" -don't. Unless I am forcefully pulled from my mortal coil, prevented from using technology, or abducted (or countless other reasons I don't feel like thinking of), I will never give up typing this story.

It'll just take a while. A long while. (And I mean no disrespect to the readers, but my life goals take priority. Right now, is what I feel will have the largest impact upon my future.) If Fimfic announces its termination (knock on wood) before I finish, I'll make sure to provide a link to a google drive with the story though, I doubt anyone by then will really bother to check. It's more of a measure for my sanity and integrity.

That turned into a long ramble. If only I could type out a story like this. Wait..that was what happened with the one-shot joke one.

To anyone who is up to date with "Lunar Eclipse," many of Dusk Fjord's more advanced/uncommonly used words are thanks to Lady Dictionary and Sir Thesaurus. Could've sworn I've seen "sobriquet" before, but heck if I remember! What does tagging a story do? Let's see..
