Hiya everypony!
I've decided to post a brief blog every few months to let you know what I'm up to, and what's down the pipeline of stories. First off, the second chapter of An Equal Burden is nearly complete. All I need to do is give it the final revisions, then its ready to publish! Expect that late this month or very early in March. In addition, I've completed another fic on the side and have another roughly 60% done, as part of a gay-oriented compilation I've been working on since late last year. I've got four story ideas so far for that anthology, and other ideas for related tales in the future. In addition, the Starlight/Sunburst fic is coming along fine, though I haven't gotten as far on that as I'd like.
I do have a bit of a question, if anyone would like to provide a suggestion; there are some things I've written that I don't really think are up to what I'd usually post on Fimfiction. They're what I'd call my "vent" stories, concepts that I write when I want to put words on paper to get creative, but without too much in the way of context or forethought. Mostly, they're near-mindless smut that I'm not sure would make solid stories on their own, even with tweaking. Still, it's a bit of a shame to leave such projects unread.
What I'm pondering is, should I upload those stories as their own anthology here, or separate them into another place like pastebin and have a link to it on my profile? Just a thought, it doesn't bother me to keep them stashed away for the time being.

Hmm, I've been leaning towards that direction. I've seen a few such compilations by some writers here as well. Plus, separating my output to two different sites is its own hassle! Still, I'd have to think of what to call it, since most of those vent ideas can go all over the place. A few of them have similar themes or are even sequels to each other, but most will be stand-alone interludes. Such a compilation would be updated infrequently too, since those stories aren't a main focus of mine, so they're "finished" whenever It seems like a natural point to put them away and start something new.
Maybe something cute, like "Rarity's Un-Lady-Like Library" or the like, and frame them as a secret stash of trashy tales that Rarity secretly keeps hidden away from prying eyes?

That could certainly work as a title.
Alternatively, you could just as easily call it "The Dirty Vent", and state flat out in the description that it's a compilation of smutty stories you write 'to vent'.

It's something to think about, but hardly a priority. I'd need a few more of those little projects finished up before I bother making them their own little "vent"ure. Hah!

Well, like I said, those kinds of stories are in the moment, what I feel like writing right then. Suggestions are more for concepts that would be proper stories; unless, of course, they were more along the lines of near-100% smut.

Well, a smutty suggestion could go either way. Maybe there's enough for a full story. Maybe you just want to one-shot-smut it.
