I told myself...

... that I wouldn't put this here until I did a major update, but a situation forced my hand.

I don't currently have a job. I did have one last year, but it was a telephone customer service thing that, long story short, I have no idea why I applied for in the first place. Seriously. On top of that, the utter lack of consistency in schedule and so many other issues piled up and killed me. I've sent my curriculum out, but so far, nothing.

Now, my mom had a bit of trouble with money lately, starting with some miscalculated payments (to her) and snowballing from there, so now I have to ask.

I don't like asking for things I can't give back or repay right away, unless it's very, very minor stuff. This does not feel minor.

I wanted to hold off giving a paypal link such as that until I had completed the last 20... maybe 15% of the Land of Friendship and Magic chapter I am working on. So I have something 80, maybe 85% done and I'm already asking for money. It does not feel good, let me tell you, specially since I know I'm not consistent enough to get myself a Patreon - maybe once I start picking up the pace and/or Neokiva manages to kick my butt into the next gear.

But my mom comes first- God knows I've been difficult enough lately, never mind growing up. I don't care if it's just a dollar, I know it adds up better than anyone. It's only this month, so don't you go feeling bad or anything- I can handle the rest, and I'll put something up to compensate your kindness.
