Plans for "3 Ponies and A Supercomputer", and future story plans.

3 Ponies and A Supercomputer is my first story that I have published, I say published, on fimfiction. To be honest it took a long time for me to not only choose a story I wanted to write about but to also publish one. If one were to look in my story folder they would find a wide plethora of stories with various different genres that remain untapped.
Of all the stories I could have chosen for my first publication I chose 3 Ponies and A Supercomputer. When I first started thinking about the story and putting pen to paper I was very much enthralled with the works of Harlan Ellison and Umberto Eco, and I wanted my story to be in a ways a combination of ideas I had from Harlan Ellison's story I have no mouth, and I must scream and Umberto Eco's Foucault's Pendulum. Overall with what has been published so far the influences from Ellison are readily apparent; I started my story in a fashion like Ellison's, and chose to put the story in the 1st person omniscient.
3 Ponies and A Supercomputer is a story that is for me, as the author, a mixed bag. I had a large amount of inspiration for it, and I still do, however, it is a mixed bag because of all of the ideas that I have had this to me is my most challenging. I am trying to incorporate a large amount of ideas while keeping the story original and entertaining. The narrative style is something that I have studied for awhile, however, I find that it very much makes it difficult for me to express everything that needs to be expressed without being too short or technical.
Now to the plans. For 3 Ponies and A Supercomputer I plan on releasing a new chapter every week on Saturday night. So far I have not finalized how long I want the story to go for, and perhaps I may leave that to popular support for it. I have had some ideas though, I am thinking that the story will be anywhere from a novelette (7,500-17,500 words) to a novella (17,500-40,000 words) in size.
Other than the small bit that I have mentioned here I'm not sure if I should release anymore information yet, so this will be it for this blog.
For my other stories that I have planned I will be releasing the majority of them as one-shots. I believe that until I finish 3 Ponies and A Supercomputer I cannot be working on another major story. And of the stories I am now considering there is an adventure story starring Daring Do as main protagonist, and there are a few slice of life stories that are still in the works. I hope to have a one-shot out within the next two weeks.
