Editing woes · 12:55pm Jan 3rd, 2018
Hello everyone, how was your new year and Christmas, or other holiday you partake In? I have a bit of bad news, Holyme's laptop's screen broke, he's gonna see if he can work on chapter 7 on his tablet however, but if I recall correctly gdocs for tablet isn't user friendly for editing and comments, atleast without a keyboard.
Stupid question, but is there an external video port (VGA/HDMI) on the laptop to which an external monitor can be used? Both major operating systems (Windows & Mac) will default to a "mirrored" system for the video, which allows them to configure the laptop for use like that.
It's not optimal, since most external monitors aren't really portable, but it's a way of using the laptop again.
And as for using the tablet, if Holyme is a typist, I'd recommend getting an external bluetooth keyboard for it if it's to be used for writing. Using a real keyboard instead of the display one makes a lot of difference.
Good luck!

I do not know if his laptop has a monitor port. I can ask but, but I know he doesn't have a lot of spare money.
As for the bt keyboard he is actually looking for one atm.

I might be able to help out in that respect. Plus, please let me know the type of laptop. I might be able to help with something in that, too.
