Forgive me for not saying much about this movie; I was quite drowsy.
Like the new Magic Schoolbus series, this isn't a reboot, rather a modernized sequel. After a few years of being buried in sand, one person uncovers it and shows it to his son. The following evening, the board game becomes... an Atari Jaguar cartridge? Which is odd... considering that the time the movie begins, the hype for the Nintendo 64 and the Playstation was all the rage.
Two decades pass, and the game, still as an Atari Jaguar cartridge, sucks up four others a la the animated series and they go through a level based version of the board game that doesn't rhyme as much.
Overall, it isn't bad, but I rather wait until it goes on HBO before giving it a watch.
