So, who would be interested in seeing some clop with a plot from me? Check below the break for a little information on my latest idea!
I've recently had an idea for a slightly longer story with sex as the main theme, but I want to be sure that people are cool with that? I realise that up until now I've only written pure smut with little in the way of an overarching narrative or anything in the way of character development, but what if I was to put a little more plot into one of my stories, producing something that rather than smut could be labeled as erotic fiction? (Which I realise smut comes under also, but it sounds a little nicer, doesn't it?)
...I'm likely to produce it either way, but I thought I'd get some thoughts on this first. Don't get me wrong, it's still gonna have a steamy sex scene as the crescendo, and hopefully that'll be enjoyed, but I thought I could write something with a little more in the way of buildup, something that explores the personality of the character/s I portray?
I'm not saying it's going to be anything profound, or something that'll make you question everything you know about romance, but I thought I'd try to imbue this story with a little bit more substance than the usual. I mean, there's always a chance it'll come off as a totally vapid porn plot despite that, but I'm going to at least try to make it something more.
Don't worry, this isn't some big transfer I'm planning to make. I didn't lure you in with smut just to switch to exclusively producing super deep and artsy smut, I'm not so evil. You'll still get your no strings attached romps pretty often, but I'm going to at least try this with the one fic, and if it goes well, perhaps more! Because porn can have a story, or even be part of a story, right?
And of course, TwiDash part three will be coming relatively soon, but I think this idea might take precedence. (Not that that's really gonna mean much, I'll probably have them both written and posted in a week or two.)
That all said, who likes Spike? Who likes Fluttershy?

Spike x Fluttershy romance is something I haven’t read in a long time, and it having a well formed plot around sex scenes is something I’d personally appreciate.

See, this is half of the reason I found myself asking. I suppose what I was thinking when I posed the question was that when a person watches porn, most often they skip the setup and get straight to the fucking, but is that because acting in porn is reasonably shit, or because people don't go to a porno looking for a story? In other words, I was worried I'd write something that had more in the way of setup and more thought put into it, only to find that it obstructed the sex part. Glad to see that people aren't seeing that as the case! And yes, more TwiDash soon, it seems a lot of people are eager for that.

(I get the feeling you mean a dislike for Spike in general, but I'll just use this opportunity to point out that I do mean 18+ Spike.) Anyways, of course, that's fine! I'm going to be trying to produce content for a varied audience, and I like to let what I consider the value of an idea take precedence over how much I might like the characters featured in said idea. In other words, even I won't always be a huge fan of the pairing I'm writing, but I'll never say it out loud.
Anyways, I wouldn't expect everything I write to be to your taste (or anyone else's), but it's nice to see that you won't unfollow or downvote a story based on that, always refreshing to see maturity online! Thanks a lot for your comment, you gave me a chance to get a couple of things across that I'd neglected to mention until now.
