The Writing's Plastered on the Wall... But I'm Keeping my Cool. · 7:43pm Dec 14th, 2017

I am not that certain death of the Internet by the FCC will be that swift. This vote is just one of many the proposal has to go through, with the Supreme Court having the actual final say-so. When they find that the consequences outweigh the benefits, or even just one violation on the Bill of Rights (eg, an ISP violating the First Amendment by censoring material available on another), they will say no.

Even with a Federal government approval, a state government wouldn't be so keen. Missouri, for instance, hasn't changed it's gun laws even with the Federal government wanting to do so and will do so again with the FCC changes.

Likewise, market plans don't work if there's no one to sell. We can just as well boycott from ISPs; it's worked several times in the past, especially for the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950's and 60's, it can work as well again.

But if push turns to shove between now and then, then it has been an honor being with you. Never give up hope just yet; one may simply lose a battle, but it takes a lot more to lose a was.
