Well, we finally made it! Took over a year and some change, but here we are!
This was another chapter that I thought would be a breeze, but ended up twisting-and-turning in the wind, as I struggled to keep it on track. It's kind of like a 'kitchen sink' chapter, what with all the talking, and description, and much more going on!
Officially, this is the final chapter of this story.
For those who have been reading along, giving comments and critiques, as well as asking 'introspective' questions, I am happy that you were willing to join me on this ride! The Expansive Romance was my first ever fimfiction piece, and at the start of it all, I estimated I could probably finish it up in 7-9 chapters. Well, since that thought, I abandoned a few ideas, had some fun delving into familiar characters, actually crafter a few O.C.'s of my own(!!), and sought to mix fetish-fuel with emotion, in ways most rarely ever considered.
Though this is the final chapter, there will be an epilogue coming soon in the next few weeks. Once the epilogue is up, the story will officially be completed, as I take a breather, and see if I have it in me, to embark on another major story (and I have a few ideas that I haven't seen made yet!).
P.S. Why is it everytime I post a chapter, I've usually gotten a thumbs-down within the first few hours of each posting? I noticed it after posting the most recent chapter. Seems my story just seems to suck without anybody reading the new chapter!
Well done! It's been a long one, but it's good to see a fic completed. There are those that abandon, and you stuck with it :3
I'm really proud of what you've done. I've enjoyed every word of the story.

Thanks so much for the comment, and yes, it does mean alot, as it it seems I seem to get more downvotes versus upvotes per chapter (so far, I've gotten two downvotes, and no upvotes after Chapter 20 was released). Plus, after almost 24 hours, the chapter's comments section is still silent.
I never faultered in wanting to finish the story. I did have my depressive funk last year between the first two chapters, mostly because I was getting thrashed on my less-than-stellar art cover (which has since been replaced through a 'generous donation' by Coral Leaf himself!).
I do have another multi-chapter story in mind, but may try to do another stand-alone story, just to let out some crazy thoughts. We'll just have to wait and see, once this story's epilogue is completed.
