P.S.A. Infinity's End Update Info #3

Well gang, I think it's time for another progress report on Infinity's End. Now, where to start? Well, I suppose a good place would be an update on the progress of the cover art. As stated in the last update, we have officially ordered our first cover from the talented Lola Ditz- https://www.fimfiction.net/user/269445/Lola+Ditz - and recently received some preliminary sketches.

As with everything in these P.S.A.'s things are subject to change, but that's a pretty good look at where that is going.

When will we finally see new posts?

Well, I'm not going to lie, progress continues to be slow, but we're trying. Personally, I am hoping for a Christmas, or new years release. Fingers crossed. This thing has survived to much for it to fail now. Besides, I already paid for the cover...

That, and the cover should be done around Christmas, so I wont have anymore good excuses for why I'm not posting...

On a completely unrelated note, the Vampony Survival Guide story, who misses it? Leave Jake a PM telling him so, he needs some motivation. Almost as much as I do...

Future posting schedule.

Way back when we first started this adventure, I tried very hard to get chapters out as regularly as possible, and that worked, for a brief while. Eventually though, my ever changing personal schedule as well as just an overall lack of experience led to such a rapid pace being simply unsustainable. At first it wasn't so bad, we made several good comebacks that lasted awhile but ultimately seemed to lead to longer and longer dark periods. Mostly due to my own self induced lack of motivation.

This time I'm trying something different, having a buffer of a few chapters already finished, as well as about a dozen others nearly done to give me a solid time pillow to work with. Essentially I'm hoping to keep ahead this time by being preemptive instead of trying to keep up on the fly like last time... That didn't work so well did it....

As for the original material...

The original posted material will remain available for a time, but, yes I suppose eventually it will come down.

The new story...

So, for those who haven't heard yet, the original version of Infinity's End was simply never going to recover from my own novice approach at how I began things. Let's just say I made a few early mistakes that would ultimately take too much away from the story, one of the biggest examples being the flash backs, as in most cases they were intended to simply help explain some of the backstory behind a lot of the characters. Unfortunately, I realized far too late into the project just how much backstory I would need to show in order to do things properly.

Thus, the Chronicles story was born. Originally meant as little more than a means of covering my own tracks it quickly became apparent that approach was not going to work either, which is why it too quite updating...

So the plan now, is to say heck with even trying to fix what I have, things are spiraling down faster than I can catch the pieces.

Now, instead of one long jumbled thing that would have had multiple missing parts, I've consolidated, organized, and schemed. Now, with any luck what you will be getting is a series of books, beginning with, Times Gone By. This will, for the most part, be a prequel to the story you already know and greatly expand the world around which Infinity's End revolves.

The second installment, Bonds Undone, will mostly be a reworked and streamlined version of the chapters you have already read. Plus a few things that never made the original cut.

After these there will be two more books continuing beyond where the original unfortunately left off. And believe me, there is a lot more to come....

Also, I've been told Q and A's are popular, so if anyone has questions or anything they would like to add, just let us know! Also, may have a few chances for guest written scenes later on. please PM if interested.
