    The Final chapters.

So much to squeeze in, so much detail, so much dialogue. I originally intended for the battle for Canterlot to be a one chapter tale. Now, its looking like three, maybe even four good sized chapters. The next of which will be up in the next day or two, its content complete, just need to do a few editing and continuity passes, make sure everything lines up as it should. It's amazing how this

    Update.

Recently, my computer suffered a catastrophic windows failure that corrupted ALL data on both of my hard drives. As a result, I lost progress on three separate stories, including the almost complete, undergoing final editing finale of TBTPTD. As stroke-enducingly annoying as this event was, it turned out to be a sort of blessing in disguise.

    Just a friendly PSA.

If there are any of you lovely people who followed me from when I was still posting on PFA, it seems that site has lost any semblance of its security. For your own sake, I'd stick to this site if you want to read my assorted literary madness.

It forced me to go back and reread my previous works, in particular those most recent, and, frankly, I can do better. The latest, the Nightmare Night one off in particular, is far below an acceptable standard I strive to set for myself. It will be removed, and either drastically improved, or discarded entirely.

In addition, I am, as my increasingly limited time allows, going to go back through my works, all the way back to chapter one, and make a series of minor improvements. No drastic alterations or effect to the story line, but improving chapter flow, word choice, event clarity and the like where it's called for.

A second task I may undertake, is in essence an R rated rewrite of specific chapters, removing the graphic sexual content, leaving it instead as clearly implied, as those acts from characters that might not quite so readily engage in them is an integral part of the story. I won't be deleting the original works, but, theoretically adding a second version, free of the cloppiness. Before I dedicate myself to that task, however, i need to know if its something that any of you have any interest in. If such a rewrite interests you, please, let me know, as I'd hate to spend my limited time on something of little to no interest to my readers.

I also wanted to take a moment to thank you, the folks who have suffered through my...sporadic, (at best) update schedule and still swing by to take the time to read through my madness. Your patience is appreciated. The last few years have been a monumental cluster fuck on a personal level, a situation that doesn't seem to be ending any time soon. Nonetheless, I won't stop until these tales are done, if for no other reason then my own impressive level of stubbornness.

Again, thank you.

i will always wait for more (I NEED MOAR) but will suggest using Google Docs to remove the chance of data loss or just put things on google drive and sync them to the cloud

I will definitely look into Google Docs, thank you for the suggestion. I've also started saving my progress daily to two separate thumb drives. I will NOT allow this kind of fuckery to take place again. I've restored the finale to a rough facsimile of what it was before, as I spend so much time mulling details over in my mind that a goodly portion of them stick in my memory. It's still coming relatively soon, but if the monstrous literary abortion that is my Nightmare Night story taught me anything, it is that its better to release a quality, complete story slowly, then rush out a piece of garbage to meet an arbitrary timeline.
