As promised, I’ve published the scene that I wrote – it fits the events of the episode “Slice of Life” into my ongoing series about the lives of Lyra and Bon Bon. It has limited appeal to the Fimfiction user base, but I liked it a little too much to make it a blog post.
It also serves as a sort of transition, introducing a change of tone that you’ll see in my next novella – a novella that I intend to publish over the course of the next week. As comfortable as I am writing slice-of-life scenarios and dry-humor banter between my main characters, the plot of the upcoming story is more dramatic than what I’ve written in the past. There will still be some slice-of-life scenes and droll quips, but overall, the focus will be on the drama.
