And Now House Renovations! :D · 3:52am Nov 21st, 2017

You know, this semester just feels like a big test for my patience (Thankfully, I haven't flunked it, yet).

As if all the homework, studying, and job hunting weren't enough of a distraction, my parents decided it's time to renovate the floors. For the record, I was against the idea and told them such, but, hey, they're letting me live in their house rent free while I complete college, so I wasn't going against them for something like this. For the past few days, I've been helping my parents tear up the floor and place new mats, and boy, does the house look like a mess. As I type this right now, my room is literally just a mattress on top of a carpet-less floor with a lamp beside it. No dressers in sight. They're next door.

Heck, I had to throw out some of my stuff. Worse, my brony status was almost revealed (Yeah, I'm a secret brony to my dad. Mom knows but doesn't like to talk about it. Thinks against my manliness). Thankfully, I thought ahead and hid all my MLP merchandise before they got to my room today . Thank goodness. Close call (though going through my merch, it makes me realize that I want to complete my Funko collection. I MUST).

In conclusion, I'm trying to adjust to the new workload and living arrangements on top of my schoolwork (seriously, this one professor just doesn't stop even this late into the semester. Come on, lady!), but I'm still writing my story when I can. Hopefully, I'll be able to kick my writing into hyper drive within the next few days (that is when I do my best work).

But hey, don't worry about me. When I'm not working on something, it's actually kinda funny to stop and see just how I'm living at the moment. Well, wish me luck! See ya!
