Huh. I forgot about a little function that I liked. · 3:59am Nov 14th, 2017

I almost completely forgot that my first phone, an HTC Inspire 4G, (Or HTC Desire HD), is one of the last phones to have included an unlocked and fully-functional FM radio chip with an accompanying app. These days carriers want people to be milked for more money through online streaming, which is why newer phones don't have unlocked FM/Radio chipsets. I'm now tuned in to a buncha local radio stations that I like listening to, including one that plays pretty much only songs from 2006-2012. Which frankly, if you ask me, is the date range that most of my favorite songs (save for a few) come from.

For newer songs, I have Youtube. And my iPod shuffle that's almost out of space because Apple thought it was a good idea to reduce the storage space from 4 gigs to 2 gigs.

Either way, don't mind me while I listen to music from around the turn of the decade. Some 10 years or so from now I'm expecting that these will be labeled as "Classic Pop" or something.
