Hey guys! A couple updates for you!
One Wish Upon a Star
- In a couple words, it's a ship fic between Sunburst and Starlight, so if you're a fan, that's your fic.
- But at the same time, it's much more than a ship fic pulled out of my butt. It's also an analysis of Starlight's character, that while the majority of the fanbase holds that she is a Mary Sue, she has some genuine depth that makes her character unique.
- Description: I wish, I wish upon a star...
Many children's wishes start out like that. However, young Starlight Glimmer doesn't believe in wishes, and her best friend, Sunburst, wants to try it out. But when humiliated for one final time, Sunburst leaves her during a meteor shower, and in a last ditch attempt to keep their friendship in tact, wishes that their friendship will last throughout whatever hardship came their way.
Next thing I want to talk about is National Pony Writing Month. AKA NaPoWriMo, this event challenges writers to write a 50k+ word fic for the month of November. And I'm going to be participating.
So, this means that The Lost Princess is going to be out on hold for the month of November. Because of the door this opened, I will be writing the Trixie + Discord fic that I've been teasing for a while. It's all planned out, and it's official title is "Ballad of the Dawn".
I won't spoil any of the details right now, but know that it's going to be big, and it's going to be deep.
