Yukito's Yellow Nuzlocke is the longest day... - Day #12

Darogh's journey picked up from where had left off. Exiting the Silph Co. tower and resting up, Darogh made for the Saffron City Pokémon Gym, where he would take on an assortment of pyschics and channelers. Here, Phat Beatz received the training that he needed to catch up with the rest of the team, except against the ghosts that were for reasons unknown also there.

A new dawn, a new day. Darogh departed from the Fuschia City Pokémon Center and headed up, paying a visit to the Pokémart and stocking up on Hyper Potions, Full Heals and Ultra Balls, as well as unloading his junk items and TMs, before heading to the Safari Zone.

Yukito's Yellow Nuzlocke is 2spooky - Day #8 · 4:39pm Oct 4th, 2017

Now in possession of a Silph Scope, Darogh decided to leave Celadon for the time-being and return to Lavender Town. Before that, though, he paid a visit to the Celadon Department Store, selling off some of his loot - including the free sample TM that very store gave him - and purchasing some more Super Potions, some X-Accuracies, X-Speeds and X-Defences.

On the roof, Darogh bought himself a water from the vendin machine. He was ready to leave, when a little girl approached him.

"Excuse me. I am thirsty but have no money - only these TMs worth thousands of Pokédollars."

Moronically, the little girl offered these priceless TMs for cheap beverages. He more than profited from selling the Rock Slide and Tri-Attack TMs, and taught Krapfish Ice Beam, though sadly had to erase the newly-learned Dragon Rage for it.

Now ready to take on some ghosts, Darogh left Celadon, taking a shortcut through Saffron City after paying the lifetime toll of one water, stopping by a mysterious house along the way. The resident was a reader of minds, and bestowed his power unto Darogh in the form a TM for the move Psychic. After much internal debate, Darogh bit the bullet and used the TM on Podders, now fully putting his faith into this Pokémon.

After Darogh returned to the chilling, spooky town of the dead, a cold wind blew by, and Darogh was sure that he heard the voices of Belle-chan and Moledicky. They beckoned him and his team to join them.

Braving on and entering Pokémon Tower, Darogh encountered Cunt, who was spinning around in circles and bragging about his Pokédex size, clearly compensating for something. Cunt foolishly challenged Darogh to battle and felt the full force of Krapfish and King Urple for his insolence, his team wiped out in an instant and his Eevee's spirits sure to be broken.

Cunt left, and Darogh continued through the tower, being warned taht spooky ghooooosts had taken over the upper floors and possessed the channelers within. Podders made quick work of the ghosts, though, utilising the unholy combination of Sleep Powder and Psychic. The laws of nature seemed to be warped as the ghosts were especially harmed by Psychic, but Darogh was not complaining. Only one ghost was spared - the Ghastly that Darogh had captured, and named OOOoooOOO!.

As Podders consumed the souls of the dead, he assimilated their powers into his own body, becoming stronger, and stronger! Soon, Darogh was at the top, where he was attacked by one final spirit - the vengeful soul of a Marowak, who had been struck down to defend her young. Having respect for the best Pokémon in the series, Darogh killed her quickly, using Krapfish's Bubblebeam to... 2-shot the damn thing. Was just tryin' ta be nice, but whatever.

On the top floor, Darogh was ambushed by Jesse and James, whose team had not only survived the previous encounter, but had grown even stronger! Well, except for the wise-cracking Meowth, who died as quickly as ever. But as for their Ekans and Koffing - well, they were now an Abrok and a Weezing! Sally Mndr took them both out with her Dig, averting any potential explosions that the Weezing might have set off but thankfully didn't.

Jesse and James retreated, and Darogh was free to rescue Mr. Pokémon, who insisted that he hadn't been taken prisoner by Team Rocket despite the fact that he was clearly thier prisoner.

"Just 'cause you went there voluntarily doesn't mean you're not a prisoner, dumbass! Now give me that Pokéflute!"

After being "rewarded" with the Pokéflute, Darogh returned to Celadon City. He headed west first, cutting down a tree to access a "secret" house where a lone hikikomori gave him Fly in exchange for "getting the fuck out of her house", though phrased somewhat more nicely. Ok For Now was bestowed with the power of flight, and Darogh returned to the city to challenge the fourth Gym.

Ok For Now took the reins for the first batch of trainers, proving his OK-ness by sweeping the foolish nature-lovers with his superiorly-OK powers of flight. Sally Mndr took the later batch, setting them and much of the Gym on fire.

Finally, the time came for Darogh and Erika to square-off. Sally took the front spot of the team and was faced with Erika's Tangela, which it burned to a fine crisp within mere seconds. Erika's next Pokémon, Weepinbell, proved more troublesome, however. Tanking the noxious Acid that inferior Belle-chan spat, Sally relentlessly scorched her foe, burning her so badly that Erikea withdrew Weepinbell and sent out her Gloom.

Sally had been injured and was in no state to tango with a third Pokémon, so Darogh switched her out for Ok For Now. The silly Gloom thought that it could absorb power from Ok For Now, but Ok For Now simply laughed it off and flew high into the air, avoiding a bout of Acid and killing the misguided plant in on swift swoop. Weepinbell, crippled by Sally's earlier onslaught, went down with a mere Peck.

Having proved that he is indeed OK, Ok For Now returned happily to his Pokéball, and Darogh graciously snatched away the Rainbow Badge, proof that Grass Pokémon that aren't Belle-chan SUCK! He also took the TM for Mega Drain when she wasn't looking and gave it to Podders.

And so, with victory in his heart, Darogh returned to the Pokémon Centre and healed his team. Before resting up for the day, there was one more challenge left for him to face.

Heading west, Darogh approached the sleeping Snorlax blocking travellers from entering Cycling Road, and awoke it using the Pokéflute. The Snorlax attacked, and King Urple took the stand.

Weakening the Snorlax proved simple - though repetitive thanks to its annoying ability to Rest - but capturing the beast proved difficult. Pokéballs simply missed, and Great Balls would never make it passed one waggle.

The Snorlax was strong, and King Urple was taking a beating. Not wishing to waste any more resources on this jerk, Darogh opted to murder it, king-stomping it until it was no more. "Returned to the mountains" indeed.

With the blockade gone, Darogh entered the rest stop before Cycling Road and bunkered downt for the night, ready to take on the frightful downhill challenge that awaited him tomorrow.
