Her contacting Tirek and getting thrown in Tartarus was all to win not only Tirek's friendship, but Grogar's attention. Now that she's in Grogar's inner circle, she's gonna try to win over Tirek and Chrysalis and pit them against Grogar.

Yukito's Yellow Nuzlocke is the longest day... - Day #12

Darogh's journey picked up from where had left off. Exiting the Silph Co. tower and resting up, Darogh made for the Saffron City Pokémon Gym, where he would take on an assortment of pyschics and channelers. Here, Phat Beatz received the training that he needed to catch up with the rest of the team, except against the ghosts that were for reasons unknown also there.

Yukito's Yellow Nuzlocke is the longest day... - Day #12 · 3:59pm Oct 17th, 2017

Sabrina's Abra and Kadabra both fell before the might of Phat Beatz, but her Alakazam proved too challenging. For this Pokémon, Sally Mndr took the reins, tanking a powerful Psychic that Darogh had to heal quickly. Thankfully Sabrina was a fucking moron and did not lay on the powerful Psychic attacks, instead opting to up her defences and using the much inferior Psywave, and Sally was able to kill it with minimal complications.

Six badges in the bag, Darogh returned to Pallet Town to visit his mother, who had taken up becoming a part-time Nurse Joy in his absence and healed his team.

Heading south via the ocean, Darogh encountered a Tentacool in the water. After two attempts to catch it with Ultra Balls failed, Darogh simply shrugged and moved on, deciding that it wasn't worth the effort or resources for a fucking Tentacool of all things.

Encountering a Fisherman, Darogh entered into battle with him, placing Drk Mousey at the front for training. Drk defeated the first Pokémon. The second one - a Tentacruel - dealt fair damage and confusion to Drk. After healing Drk, Darogh ordered him to finish the attack. However, Drk hit himself in his confusion, dealing HALF OF HIS OWN HEALTH in damage. Tentacruel followed up with a critical hit, finishing Drk Mousey off.

After taking a moment to... grieve... Darogh unleashed Phat Beatz and ordered swift vengence for the team's fallen commrade. Phat Beatz ate the Tentacruel and the murderous trainer that spawned it! Next, Darogh flew to Viridian City and began the grueling task of burying Drk and finding a replacement for his first ever partner.

After much soul-searching, Darogh ultimately decided that Ehhhhhhhhh would be the best choice to fill this new spot.

Returning to his journey south, Darogh put Ehhhhhhhhh to the front and denied his evolution for a few levels, allowing him to first learn Petal Dance before allowing him to elvove into a Gloom. Reaching Cinabar Island, Darogh took a moment to fly back to Celadon City and pick up a Leaf Stone, allowing Ehhhhhhhhh to evolve into a Vileplume.

Upon returning to Cinnabar, Darogh attempted to challenge the Gym, only to find that the trainers inside had locked themselves in. A note on the door informed Darogh that, in order to take on the Gym challenge, he must first brave the generic RPG dungeon and find the Secret Key!

Darogh puffed up his chest and entered the Rattata- and Raticate-infested dungeon, though only a few steps upon entry, he was assailed not by a rat, but by a mangey mutt known only as Growlithe. Darogh captured the Growlithe and sent Rad Rocket to the box.

Exploring the decrepit old building and encountering a few thieves along the way, Darogh defeated the confounding puzzle of the secret switches and dropped down a fifty-foot fall to the building's basement. There he encountered Scientists and Super Nerds armed with exploding Pokémon a-plenty. Still, though, Darogh managed to survive the gauntlet and nab not only the Secret Key, but aslo a TM for Solar Beam.

Dragging himself back to the surface, Darogh nailed shut the door to that dreadful building and returned to the Pokémon Center to heal his team, before pressing onwards to the Gym.

Inside, Darogh was expected to take a test in order to skip the trainer battles and go directly to the leader. However, Darogh was no scrub! Intentionally, he got every single question WRONG, fighting each trainer in order to strengthen his team!

When Darogh reached Blaine, Krapfish had grown significantly from his recent battles. This experience proved to pay off when he ultimately drowned every single one of Blaine's Pokémon with no remorse! The short-lived battle over, Darogh was award the Volcanoe Badge and decided to squeeze in one more Gym battle for the day.

And so, returning to Viridian City, Darogh headed up to the Gym and entered, finding that the Gym leader had returned!

Fighting his way though the mismatched Pokémon of the trainers inside the Gym and battling the slow-moving tiles, Darogh (eventually) reached the leader. In a surprise twist, the leader turned out to be none other than Boss Rocket! DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN!

Boss Rocket commended Darogh on making it to him and accepted his challenge. And so the battle began, Ehhhhhhhhh out at the front of the team as its Grass-typeness would theoretically make it a safe bet against Rock/Ground-types - however, Darogh immediately realised that Ehhhhhhhhh's Poison-typeness would have the opposite effect.

Facing off against Boss Rocket's Dugtrio, Darogh pulled back Ehhhhhhhhh in favour of Krapfish, whose Flying-typeness would negate the Ground-type of Dugtrio's Dig. Despite this, Dugtrio continued to use that move, resulting in its ugly demise at the hands of Krapfish's Surf.

Persian was Boss Rocket's next Pokémon, and this, too, fell to the terrorfying might of Krapfish!

"So you know how to play, eh? Well, so do I. Go, Nidoqueen!"

Darogh laughed. Nidoqueen? That would prove to have little impact on Krapfish. There was no reason to fear. So it survived one Surf? Big deal. What could it possibly-

"Thunder."

... Wait, what? What? WHAAAAAAAAAT?! Why does it know- Okay! Krapfish survived on 3 HP, we're fine!

"Ummm, come back, Krapfish! Okay, no need to panic. Podders and Sally are clearly out of the question then, Urple and Ehhhhhhhhh would die to Earthquake, so it has to be Phat Beatz!"

Sending out Phat Beatz, Boss Rocket grinned.

"Double-kick."

... WWWWWWHHHHHAAAAAAATTTTTTT????!!!!!

Phat Beatz ate the attack like the tank that he is, but he would not survive another! Darogh began to sweat.

"Okay, The King is part-Ground, so it'll be neutral... unless Ground doesn't resist Ground, but what choice do I have?! Heal and hope he misses? If he crits then Phat will... Damnit!"

It was time for King Urple to truly prove his right to wear the crown! Pulling out Phat Beatz, Darogh sent out King Urple. As expected, Boss Rocket used Earthquake.

King Urple never stood a chance. His reign was ended, and Nidoqueen took his crown, donning it proudly atop her head.

Finding no other choice, Darogh sent out Sally. She's fast. Surely she'll get a hit in before Nidoqueen.

"Thunder."

NO! She's too fast! SALLY, HANG O-

Sally died. Sally died a tragic, TRAGIC death.

Krapfish was sent back out, and Darogh had no choice but to leave it to fate. Krapfish was faster, and got his Surf in before Nidoqueen could strike. Nidoquen died, but her impact on the team had been made.

Boss Rocket sent out his Nidoking next. Darogh healed Krapfish, only for it to be struck by yet another Thunder. Nidoking's special proved to be lower than Nidoqueen's, though, and Krapfish survived a lot better, though it was still in danger. Thankfully, this one died to simply ONE of Krapfish's Surfs.

The final Pokémon that Boss rocket sent out was Rhydon. This Pokémon was Rock/Ground, meaning that surely only one Surf will be all that it takes! And with Krapfish's speed the first hit will surely be his!

"Okay, let's do this!"

However, Boss Rocket simply smiled, and said, "Rock Slide."

An avalanche fell atop Krapfish, crushing him to the ground and snuffing out what little life he had left.

Unsure what to do at this point, Darogh sent out Podders in the hopes of making Rhydon sleep. But, Rhydon proved not only too fast, but also too powerful, crushing poor Podders in the mere blink of an eye.

Down to only his two weakest members of his team, Darogh simply sighed and sent out Ehhhhhhhhh.

To his bewilderment, Ehhhhhhhhh was not only fast enough to strike first, but was able to kill Rhydon with simply one Petal Dance!

Darogh's eyes widened, a new sparkle of hope inside of them as Boss Rocket conceded defeat and awarded Darogh with the Earth Badge.

However, the hope died young, as Darogh looked over the two-thirds of his team that had fallen simply to attain this final badge. Was it worth it? Was this what it meant to live-and-die as a Pokémon trainer? Were more sacrifices bound to happen so long as he continued down this path?

His heart sank. Without a word, Darogh left the Viridian City Gym and returned to the Pokémon Center to bury his dead.

Looking west, Darogh could see the gates to the Pokémon League so close, yet so far from his grasps.

Then, Darogh turned his sights south... South to Pallet Town. Back to his home. Taking one step forward, Darogh took the first step towards the end of his Pokémon League journey.

As the sun set on this final day, Darogh's Nuzlocke journey came to a close.

The End.

Day 12:

Friends gained: 1 (25 total)
Deaths: 5 (8 total)
Badges: 8

So yeeeeeeeeah... This happened while I was out in London over the weekend and while this doesn't TECHNICALLY mean the run is over, I have decided to end it simply because the Pokémon that I have remaining will all need some serious grinding to get up to par and, frankly, I don't have that kind of time or patience right now ^_^;; Especially since it'll largely be against wild Pokémon.

So, I had a good run, I suppose. Eight badges, made it quite a ways with minimal deaths... Just a shame that over half my deaths happened all at one and they were the stronger members of my team, with all my powerful TMs invested into them XD
