One Story Overshadowed By The Rest

I couldn't help but notice that, while my friend and I have been pouring our hearts into a story that emphasizes adventure, drama, and a bit of comedy, it isn't doing as well as, say, the one story where Rainbow Dash hypnotizes two mares to getting their butts stung by wasps. It makes me think, should I focus more on my kinkier stories or focus more on the serious story and be a better writer

Thank you for reading Sting of the Love Bees!

Sincerely, to all that have read it and gave it good marks, thank you. To those that didn't, thank you for looking anyway. I hope that your support can inspire me to write more chapters and delve into the plot even further.

    Thank you!

I'm thinking about making the Love Bee saga its own series...

Would it be alright to move the stories I have of the love bees in Fluttershy the Mellisophile and make it its own separate entry? The entire arc of it so far sounds like it has the right to be a series of its own.

    Where I've been...

Hello, all! It's been a long time, huh?

Well, the reason I've been so absent is because I've completely shifted my focus from my hobbies of writing/drawing to working my life out. Lack of motivation and inspiration kinda hits hard when you are going through a crisis of what you're doing with your life, moreso if your creativity is focused on a fetish that no one likes but you.

My first ever collab · 6:51pm Sep 30th, 2017

TheVClaw was super helpful last night. I stayed up until 5 AM(!) to work with him in making the ultimate bee sting fiction. At first, I was very intimidated. After all, he was a professional writer and I was an amateur. I certainly did feel a couple tinges of humility as he corrected my mistakes throughout. But, I did learn many techniques from him, and I want to try my best to emulate his writing in the future. My hat's off to him. He didn't have to offer, but he did, and I'm forever grateful for his teachings. If you want to read the result of our collab, it can be found here. (NSFW).

What's it like, working in collaboration? I mean, how does the process even work? Was the whole thing written together, or did you write different parts and kibbutz at each other? Details!

Well, he opened up Google Docs, we briefly discussed what the story was going to be like, then we started writing. He wrote the first paragraph to get us started and I add my parts to continue the story. He handled Braeburn's descriptions and dialog, while I wrote Fluttershy's dialog and actions. We also covered each other's mistakes while we were writing, so the editing process was covered as well.
