Yukito's Yellow Nuzlocke is the longest day... - Day #12

Darogh's journey picked up from where had left off. Exiting the Silph Co. tower and resting up, Darogh made for the Saffron City Pokémon Gym, where he would take on an assortment of pyschics and channelers. Here, Phat Beatz received the training that he needed to catch up with the rest of the team, except against the ghosts that were for reasons unknown also there.

Yukito's Yellow Nuzlocke takes on the mafia! - Day #7 · 9:53pm Sep 28th, 2017

Darogh continued his journey towards Celadon City, meeting an array of characters along the way, including a Nidoran-obsessed girl who shames evolution, a Meowth-obsessed girl who couldn't stop meowing, and a girl who aknowledged that she and her friends were freakin' weird. Also a couple of nerds that Darogh beat down after murdering their Pokémon.

Taking the underground pass, Darogh arrived at Celadon City and rested at the Pokémon Center, and then decided to use up some of his TMs on his team. Sally Mndr learned how to Dig, and also how to Body Slam.

Darogh's stomache roared, alerting him to the fact that he had not eaten a single thing since he started his journey. Luckily, the one restaurant in all of Kanto lay in Celadon City. Heading to the southern end of the city, Darogh entered the restaurant and ordered the Tauros steak with the Oddish salad.

Taking his food to a table, Darogh dined with a nice, elderly man who was down on his luck.

"Harrumph! Go ahead! Laugh!"

Darogh simply shrugged, and laughed at the old man's face.

"I blew all of my money in the Game Corner! Just goes to show that gambling only leads to ruin! I'm going straight! Here, 10-year-old kid! Take my Coin Case and go have fun on the slots!"

Ditching his meal, Darogh wasted no time hitting the Game Corner. Scrounging and grovelling, Darogh found some coins lying about and then proceeded to win it big on the slots! Darogh was having fun, but just then, he noticed something peculiar. And odd man stood at the back of the Game Corner, staring at a poster on the wall and dressed in all black.

Wait. An odd man, dressed all in black? Could it be... Imakuni?!

Darogh hurried over to the man, eager to ask for an autograph, but his spirits were dropped. It was only a Rocket Grunt. Guarding a poster for... reasons?

For crushing his hopes, Darogh showed no mercy and squashed the Rocket's Pokémon flat under Sally's foot. The Rocket ran away, screaming something about a hideout. Curious as to why the Rocket would guard a poster so much, Darogh examined it and found... a hidden switch! He flipped it, revealing a secret entrance nearby.

Descending down the new staircase, Darogh found himself inside of a Rocket hideout. The Rockets had been alerted to his arrival and were ready-and-waiting, but they were no match against Sally, who demonstarted the awesome powers of her ability to dig beneath the marble flooring, and Ok For Now, who took this chance to really show just how Ok he really is! As it turned out, he was SO Ok! So Ok that Darogh was somewhat impressed.

Battling through the hideout and defeating Rocket Grunts left-and-right, Darogh picked up some TMs along the way and taught Ok For Now Razor Wind, and upon King Urple, he bestowed the powers of Double Edge and Horn Drill. Darogh took out a scrap of paper, and upon it her wrote:

'Reminder: buy X-Accuracies'

After defeating one final guard, who then proceeded to clumsily drop the Lift Key, Darogh proceeded to said lift and took it to a random floor. During the battle with this guard, Krapfish had also learned how to use Dragon Rage, forasking its shameful Tackle from when it was just a crap fish.

Upon leaving the elevator, Darogh was ambushed by Jesse and James, back for revenge! However, their Koffing and Ekans were no match for Podders' combined Sleep Powder and Confusion, and their Chicagan Mewoth with an attitude fell victim to The King's almight king-stomp!

The duo fled, leaving nothing more in Darogh's path. He pressed on, confronting the boss of Team Rocket: Giovanni. Darogh feared Sally was not ready to face an Onix yet, and so switched it out for Krapfish, only to be startled by a terrorfying Rock Throw! Krapfish was fine, though, and so Darogh ordered it to use Bubblebeam. It defeated the Onix in one hit, as well as the Rhyhorn that was sent out next. The Persian, however, proved too much for Krapfish, and so The King took over, king-stomping it into a wall and leaving Giovanni shocked.

In his panic, Giovanni dropped something as he fled. It was a Silph Scope, an item that Darogh had been told randomly by one of the Rocket Grunts would allow him to identify ghosts!

"Cool! I gotta try this out!"

And so, Darogh's destination was set: Back to Lavender Town, and onwards, to VICTORY!

... Tomorrow, as today, he and his team were sleepy, and needed to rest.

I'm gonna guess that king stomp is the fashionable new way to say curb stomp?
