TNK is Dead

I have to be honest here. Recently I looked into starting on The Nightmare Knight again. But when I looked at the story, I realized something: It kinda sucks to be honest. I mean, it's alright. The grammar isn't awful. (More thanks to my editor than me.)
But to me it just doesn't feel right. The characters are cliche, and even borderline Marey Sues (Badumtish) in what I had planned. I cannot look at that story and honestly say it's a work I'm proud of.
However, for the Nightverse(Nocturnalverse? I dunno.) not all hope is lost. That's the one thing I really liked about that story; the environment and history of Eclipse City and Nocturna. So I'm going to do something different. I want to do an anthology with it; explore the culture and characters, rather than make it a full action story.
Don't get me wrong. There will still be action. Maybe even some of the better elements from my plans for TNK.
