    Grudge and Iron

Legends spoke, when the green men swarm the lands, all of Equis would be doomed. All of peace and harmony would be thrown into chaos, and destruction, as death swept across the lands without mercy. None, not even the Elements or the Princesses, will have the power to stop their tideless swarm and fanatical prayers to the yellow crescent moon.

    Reason For Silence

I know you are all wondering why I haven’t been posting anything or updates, there is a perfectly good reason for this besides work......

I have been working on a novel, and just finished it thirty minutes before this blog post. It has reached 61k words and is hopefully the first book of three!

    ....Nightmare of Shadow-WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?

So, been mulling over a story concept while I work on other projects... And I had another Warcraft / MLP cross over idea called “Nightmare of Shadowmoon”. Told a friend, and she now ships the main character with her character. I’m laughing at Gor’zag’s reaction xD

Fall of Julius the Stalwart · 6:31am Sep 20th, 2017

(( This is a lament I was writing for one of my novels. Wanted your opinions on it? An Imperial Centurion, who turned Mercenary after noticing there was no more honor in his battles, was slain while protecting the main protagonist. In other words, he had a Boromir moment, fighting to hold countless foes off to protect the main character, injury upon injury appearing across his broken body until a black spear finally pierced his chest and the Centurion was no more. He plays a major plot point for the main character, the noble knight who safeguards the innocent and punishes the wicked, along with a close confidant besides her adoptive older brother, an Orc who does not get along with said centurion (due to the Orcs and Imperials being centuries old enemies). However, when Gromok discovers the barely living Centurion... He will tell the Orc what had happened, going so far as to call him brother. A testament to how the Centurion felt about Gromok, and Gromok alone. ))

Lament of Julius, the Stalwart

His name is called upon, but no voice shall answer any longer.

From the east, did the sun rise to greet a new dawn, but felt low did he. To the mountain dwelling dwarf, did he ask.

“My stone born friend, my heart feels low. May I ask where my son be? Do you know of Julius the Noble?”

With worried eyes, did the dwarf answer.

“No, my Lord of Skies, I do not know where Julius be. Mayhaps the Orcs know what has happened to your son.”

With a nod did the sun rise further, and looked to the Badlands traveling Orcs of old. And he asked.

“My warriorborne friends, my heart feels low. Have you fought my son? Have you seen Julius the Humble.”

With brave salutes, did the Orcs answer.

“No, Father of Skies, we have not seen your wayward son. Mayhaps the Elves have watched his travels?”

With a nod, did the sun continue his search for a missing son.

O Julius, where have you gone? For our father doth search for his wayward son. Where are thou, Julius? Where might our wayward son be?

With a bright shine, did the sun visit the watchful elves in their trees and covens. And he asked.

“Oh, my treefolk friends, my heart feels low. May I ask where my son be? Have you seen Julius the Strong?”

With bowed heads, did the Elves of Old reply.

“We have not seen thy son, Bearer of Light. Mayhaps your other children may know of where he stands?”

With a nod, did the sun travel west, to his shining Empire. Rising over the marble walls, didhe see his children once more. And he asked, heart laid low.

“Oh, my sunkissed children, my heart feels low. Have you seen my son? Have you seen Julius the Stalwart? What news do you have for me?”

With heavy hearts, did the Solar Children kneel. Their eyes filled with mournful tears, as they answered his pleas.

“Oh, Sun Father, we know of your son. Julius the Great is no more. His scutum broken, and gladius shattered. Long did he fight many of foe, long did he try. But woe, he is no more.”

With dull light, did the sun set westward. For his heart has laid low, to know another son is no more.

Woe be to Julius, for long did he try. Woe be to Julius, for long did he fight. But fight no more, and rest thy head, for thy time has come to end. The son has been laid to rest.

And we shall mourn a Child of the Sun once more.
