My Thanks and Expanded ideas. · 3:37pm Sep 16th, 2017

First off, thank you all for the birthday wishes, and the birthday dinner last night was delicious.

It's been a while since I talked about stories, so I'll give a little update on ideas (I haven't started writing yet, and it'll be awhile before I can).

For the story "Monsters of Everfree," I have been trying to work on an idea that there is this agent who would taunt Sunset and threaten to expose their secret to the world (and he does have the evidence). The question is: who would be that person. A curious reader would suggest Bon Bon in a nod to her Equestrian counterpart being a Men in Black agent. But that wouldn't work in the context of the universe I've established. The most likely person would be one of my OCs, Cogsworth, here taking the role of Ranja from Kong: Skull Island.

Likewise, much of the story structure would have to be changed; Filthy Rich wouldn't be the stereotypical businessman in the film it takes in; using her powers, Gloriosa is able to keep the camp up and running enough to pay the debts. Only when the presence of Kong and other abominations will put Filthy to hire some guns and draws the attention of the organization that experimented on the gorilla.

Likewise, the whole romance idea, including the subtle implication of Flash and Sunset getting back together, might be harder to pull off, given the context of the first story.

Here is a drawing I have of a couple battles, the first of which would lead to certain recurring joke you might suspect.

As for the probable Swan Song, "EG: King of the Monsters," I am thinking of including a few flash backs since we have more available knowledge regarding "The Legends of Equestria." Perhaps I could have them involved in wrangling up some "trouble children." Otherwise, what I covered at my End of July blog will be applied to the story.

Welp, that's pretty much it. And now to focus my efforts on my work, including some finished art pieces for the upcoming Sunset Shimmer Day the coming Friday.
