I never thought this would see the light of day...

I remember when Minecraft first came out, the homebrew DS community began flocking around homemade Minecraft clones for the Nintendo DS and DSi (the latter of which I own).

It was already said that we'd likely never see Minecraft on a Nintendo console, let alone one from the Nintendo DS line.

Welp. Fast forward to 2017, and we've got Minecraft Wii U, Minecraft Switch, and now...

MINECRAFT 3DS EDITION.

Yup. From the looks of it the new 2ds XL is on the compatibility list. It's got the same specs as the 3ds, just without 3d.
