Still Rare, Still Writing · 5:01am Sep 13th, 2017
Wow, April was forever ago, wasn't it? I did do a lot of writing this summer...though not as much as I wanted. I blame a nice vacation taking up half a month and the fact that running a tabletop game takes up time I'd otherwise spend on the keyboard belting out more horses bangin'. I think it's about time for a quickie status update though.
I do have the first chapter of a longish story in the first-draft stage, with a second chapter also nearing that stage, though I'll only post the beginning of that tale when I am roughly 1/3 of the way through the rough-draft of the 3rd chapter, so I can try and keep it updated consistently on a bi-monthly basis. It's a bit darker than my usual material, but I'm having fun with it.
One shorter story is about 30% complete, a transformation yarn that came from a silly idea, and I've done about the same amount of work on a fic staring everypony's favorite marshmallow. I am also pondering creating a CYOA-style story set in Las Pegasus, though that is more concept than execution by now, with only the first few "choices" fleshed out beyond one-line headers. If I can get three complete chapters (or 2 and a proper story) out by the end of the year, I'll call it good. Either way, thanks for supporting me through the drought!
