Whom the Princesses Would Destroy · 11:05pm Oct 10th, 2012

GhostOfHeraclitus' comedy Whom the Princesses Would Destroy has posted, and has also been accepted onto EqD and should appear there anytime now. The EqD pre-reader said,

Goodness. This is one of the most immediately interesting stories I've read in a while. The author homage and influence is immediately noticeable, of course, so it might just be that I'm a big fan of Terry Pratchett - but this story is lovely. ... Congrats on a truly spectacular and charming piece of writing!

It's official. Ghost is actually Terry Pratchett in disguise.

Wow, that's quite a recommendation. Definitely goes on the list.

Pratchett influenced you say... :trixieshiftright:

415807 I don't know if I'd say Pratchett specifically; yes, it's like that, but if Douglas Adams were still writing people would say he wrote like Pratchett. If you want a story that consciously and closely imitates Pratchett in every way, try Mort Takes a Holiday.
