Well, after a bike crash, hard drive extraction, broken computer, new one, bike flat, updating security and software, downloading some music, being bored out of my mind, I am finally back and ready to write and have been recently inspired by this review of a story of mine.
This story has the potential to be good, if it’s rewritten. The idea behind it has worth and I would like to see it explored. The author is very persistent, having written 21k words with less than 10 votes and only three comments, none of which are directly related to the story. The author looks to have read over the work, if not out loud, for there are no glaring spelling errors.
It hurts me, but I can't be angry because I know it's true
And finally, almost after a year, someone finally says and recognizes that I have the potential to be good
IDK if that's what I needed to hear, but it's what I wanted to hear
And I suppose this is true for any story, it has the potential to be good, if you put time and effort into it...
I think I know how I should write in the future, how to improve myself and become better, how to succeed, and hopefully, one day, I can achieve all my goals and dreams,
This to me is VERY inspiring as I am an optimist by nature.
Anyhow, thank you all 150 of you (Wow, I can hardly believe this number!)
I love you all and please keep telling me if my work is bad, I don't care, I don't mind, I want/need to know, I want to learn and grow!
My stories will come out when I feel like they're ready and good, I won't try to rush the final product, only the first draft (which I hope I won't release).
