Okay, small update and an announcement.
Update first. I am working on Enemy of Mine currently and almost have the first chapter done, so do not despair, those of you who have been awaiting arc two's start.
Announcement now. I am going on a dumb vacation, which is okay I guess. It will last almost a week, and I cannot say if I will have wifi, or properly working wifi, and all that fun stuff. If you notice that I am offline, or only appear logged in for a few seconds, etc. it isn't anything wrong. I'm just being grumpy somewhere because I hate beaches and am on vacation. This means I won't really be popping up any where else either. If you need to reach me for some reason, just drop a PM. If you were planning on commenting on something of mine, go ahead, I just won't answer it right away.
I'm gonna be trying to write a little on vacation, and it'll likely be some of EoM, which is now slated to appear very soon (!) but if I don't, I'll probably just be working on drabbles or one shots - anything that doesn't require too much focus in case I'm distracted and anything like that.
Here's a small snippet of the first chapter/prologue then:
Gasping, she willed it away, and wished that the sound didn't sound like thunder to her, and that nopony would wake, even if they always felt too far away now. Then as it ebbed away and her heart continued shaking in her chest, she wanted to weep for sound again. She did not find anything but her emotions made into some kind of weird frizzy feeling that put the image of curling up into a ball in her head and made it hard to tell if she was cold or not anymore.
She wanted to tear her voice from her throat and scatter the sound, but she was afraid to speak.
She sank into recollection, and for a little while longer, let herself disappear there. Where everything unfolding behind her tired eyes had already happened and she could not be surprised.
have fun (or not i guess) on vacation
pffffffffffffhahahahahhahahaha
Hope your vacation turns out to be nice
