So the poll I put up pretty clearly states that there is still interest in my five-year-old silly crossover. With that in mind, here's a few things:
1. I'm going to edit the story soon, to remove extraneous plot points, streamline some things, and to better characterize the Avengers while still giving (some of) them a reason to be aggressive when they arrive in Equestria. A big fight scene between the ponies and the Avengers is the splashy mid-story event piece I wanted to tell, but it needs a reason to happen beyond 'it'll be so freakin' cool you guys!'.
2. To do this effectively, I'm going to eventually take down all the chapters and then re-release them once a day until they've all been re-posted. After that, I'll upload a new chapter (which I'll work on after the edits are done but before they're posted).
3. After that, chapter updates will resume on a (hopefully) regular schedule.
4. I will not be adding anything from the MCU or MLP:FiM that was added after my story was first posted. That means that, as far as this story is concerned, the Avengers 'universe' is currently taking place sometime after 'The Avengers 2012' and before 'Iron Man 3', and MLP:FiM is somewhere between the end of Season 2 and the beginning of Season 3. I'll be adding an author's note about this at the beginning of the revised first chapter, so new readers hopefully won't be too confused.
On a more personal note, I'd like to thank you all for sticking around. I've been mired in depression and other things since 2015, but recently one of my major problems (sleep apnea) has received treatment (CPAP machine, arrived on August 8th). With that help, I hope I can now have the energy/motivation to get my nose back to the grindstone and finish this story.
