About the Story Schedule... · 9:47pm Jul 15th, 2017
Hello, everyone! Sunny here!
Some of you may have noticed that my user page has changed a little and that I have posted a little "schedule" of sorts explaining briefly how my chapter uploads work. That "schedule" is pretty important and will give you guys the information you need as far as what I'm doing and when you should expect chapters to be done.
But before I do that, I wanted to answer a quick question that seems to be asked lately: "How many chapters of Empty Skies are there left?". I finally have an answer to that, as I've plotted out what's left that I want to tell of ES, and am happy to report that we are still a good three or four chapters from the end if we leave out chapter 6, which will be posted later today.
Alright, to the schedule then. I wanted to give a more in-depth explanation of how the schedule works. Some of it is incredibly obvious and I won't bore you with the details. Current stories and back-burner stories are self-explanatory. It is the "due date" and the nature of my back-burner stories that I want to talk about.
The "due-date" is a date that I've set for myself to have at least one chapter done by for the week, be that a current project or back-burner chapter. It will always be on a Sunday, but won't always be a current story (Empty Skies, in this case). Either way, at least one chapter will be updated a week. On rare occasions (like two weeks ago), you will see a chapter update for both of my stories in the same week. Don't expect that too often.
Now, for those of you who watch me for "Embracing the Fog" (The current back-burner story): don't panic. I love writing EtF, but unfortunately, it's a co-written story that's less popular and less planned out at the moment. It won't always be that way, though. When Empty Skies is finished completely, it will become my focus, and a third story in the works will become the new back-burner.
TLDR; You guys are dorks. Chapter 6 of Empty Skies will be posted in about an hour, enjoy. ^^
Also, if there are any other questions you guys want to ask, be sure to drop them in the comments to this blog post. If they're non-spoiler related, I'll be happy to answer them.
