Writin' for the Summer · 7:29pm May 8th, 2019
Hey guys!
Summer is upon me, and since I don't have to work through it, you can expect regular updates again!
This year, I have three big goals, in order of importance:
1) Finish Embracing the Fog - For a long time, EtF didn't have a specific arc or conflict beyond "Soarin deals with separating from the Wonderbolts", but I now have a concrete narrative for where I want the story to go. I may even be going back to edit the older chapters and renumber them to help me transition more smoothly into Soarin's thoughts and leave the Misty/Surprise B-plot as their own chapters.
2) Continue What Happens at Clipper's - With the Three Suns arc out of the way, these are back to being separated one-shots. The vote was pretty split between Nightshade and Spitfire. When it originally closed, Spitfire had won by only one point. Looking back at it now, however, Nightshade has taken the lead again. To be true to my word, the next one-shot will be bonding between Spitfire and Sunset. However, the one after will be Nightshade's turn to get some spotlight.
3) Help Uria to Finish Hell and High Water - If some of you are new and are unaware: Hi! I'm the co-writer of Hell and High Water by Uria the Sacred Beast. Why is this included in this list of my priorities? Hell and High Water is important to me, but getting it done does take some of the time away from my own page's writing. So, in other words, I'm putting it here to be more transparent with you all about where my time goes. If you've never heard of it, but like Empty Skies and its universe, I'd suggest checking it out.
I think that's it for now. Just like last year, I'll be keeping up with updates regularly on my main page. Be sure to check it weekly to see when I expect to be updating each series!
Thanks for being ever so patient with my business,
~~~Sunny~~~
This is exciting! I'm excited!
But will you have proper dialogue punctuation now?
Cool, good to know the stories I follow are going to start moving again. Appreciate the 411👍
Awesome.
Please please continue Hell and High Water. It was like one of the first stories I found on this site.
