So, with the episode about AJ's parents released in Australia, I feel the need to address what is now show canon before I get a war in the comments of the next Aftermath chapter.
If you've yet to see this episode, skip this post until you have. Ahead be spoilers.
So, from what I've read (I haven't seen the episode, waiting for a movie night with some friends), A Perfect Pear is about the love story of Applejack's parents.
Why is this a problem for Aftermath? Well, they're mentioned a bit in the upcoming chapter, and I've had this planned before I even knew this episode was going to be a thing.
All I can say without giving too much away, is the MLD Universe version of the parents will be very similar to the ones in my story No Matter What You Get, which was based on what was seen in the book series, specifically, Applejack and The Honest-to-Goodness Switcheroo.
